Mixing it up!

I got some great advice from some lovely ladies on instagram about combining the Menopur and the Gonal-f together to have only 1 shot for the evening. Not only was is super helpful with only having to take 1 shot, but it also took away the burning that I was getting with the Menopur injection. I contacted my RN (Registered Nurse) of course to get the go ahead. When I do my injection tomorrow I'll try to do a video of how to combine the medicines. It will be based on my prescribed dosages, so certainly consult your practitioner before you attempt to mix your medications.

I'm currently taking 75 of the Menopur, which is a powder, and 150 of the Gonal-f. My RN told me that the amount of the liquid you add to the Menopur is really just to dissolve it, so when I did half of the liquid it still did the trick, and then added the 150 Gonal-f to the Menopur vial.
