Cycle Day 1

So, to recap and update, this has been my Part 1 IVF plan and plan that I've completed so far! Next step will be a Frozen Embryo Transfer (FET), will be providing that cycle info when I know more!

Cycle day 1 Monday 2/29/16: Called clinic with beginning of cycle

CD 3 Wednesday 3/2/16: Blood work

Started BC 3/2/16- 3/17/16

CD 17 Wednesday 3/16/16: IVF follow-up with RE to update plan to do PGS plan of care

CD 19 Friday 3/18/16: Bloodwork and Ultrasound

Phone appointment with the Genetic Lab; results will be sent to clinic,

usually takes about 5-7 days to complete the testing and return results.

Day 1 Monday 3/21/16: Started 150 IU Gonal-f and 75 IU Menopur in evening

Day 2 Tuesday 3/22/16: PM 150 IU Gonal-f and 75 IU Menopur

Day 3 Wednesday 3/23/16: PM 150 IU Gonal-f and 75 IU Menopur

Day 4 Thursday 3/24/16: PM 150 IU Gonal-f and 75 IU Menopur

Day 5 Friday 3/25/16: AM Bloodwork & Ultrasound check PM 150 IU Gonal-f and 75 IU

Menopur

Day 6 Saturday 3/26/16: PM 150 IU Gonal-f and 75 IU Menopur

Day 7 Sunday 3/27/16: Started 250 mcg Ganirelix in AM, BW & US, PM 150 IU Gonal-f and

75 IU Menopur

Day 8 Monday 3/28/16: AM: 250 mcg Ganirelix, PM: 150 IU Gonal-f and 75 IU Menopur

Day 9 Tuesday 3/29/16: AM 250 mcg Ganirelix, 645 am BW & US estrogen 900 pg/ml,

increased Gonal-f

PM 225 IU Gonal-f and 75 IU Menopur

Acupuncture

Day 10 Wednesday: 3/30/16: AM 250 mcg Ganirelix PM 225 IU Gonal-f and 75 IU Menopur

Day 11 Thursday: 3/31/16: AM: 250 mpg Ganirelix, 630 am BW & US estrogen >1600 pg/ml

Follicles: Right ovary contains at least 7 follicles, 19 mm, 17 mm,

15 mm, 14 mmX2, 11.5 mm, & 11mm

Left ovary contains at least 7 follicles, 16 mm, 13, mm, 15 mm,

12 mm, 11 mmX2

PM 225 IU Gonal-f and 75 IU Menopur

Acupuncture

Day 12 Friday 4/1/16: AM 250 mpg Ganirelix, 630 am BW & US Call from RN TRIGGER

NIGHT!!

7 PM 300 IU Gonal-f and 75 IU Menopur

9 PM 10K HCG Trigger injection

Day 13 Saturday 4/2/16: REST DAY

Day 14 Sunday 4/3/16: 9AM EGG RETRIEVAL!!

Day 15 Monday 4/4/16: Update from RN 7 eggs fertilized!

Day 16 Tuesday 4/5/16: Felt great after egg retrieval, then soreness hit me, ovaries very

sore... Craniotherapy treatment (Tx) helped!

Day 17 Wednesday 4/6/16: Update from RN 7 embryos still dividing!! (Lots of CM

(cervical mucous, think I ovulated???)

Day 18 Thursday 4/7/16: Confirmed with RN, NO SEX for at least 2 weeks or until period

starts. Rational is that you could potentially ovulate, yet when

asking if protected sex is ok, they said still NO, because the

ovaries are so swollen no "vigorous" activity.

Day 19 Friday 4/8/16: 4 embryos were able to be biopsied for PGS and then frozen!! 5

days old!

Day 20 Saturday 4/9/16: 1 more embryo was able to be biopsied and frozen for a total

of 5 embryos in the freezer!! (did have sex, but "protect"...)

Day 21 Sunday 4/10/16: Not much to report...

Day 22 Monday 4/11/16: Had sex....oops... ;)

Day 23 Tuesday 4/12/16: Spotting... Craniotherapy Tx, felt great!

Day 24 Wednesday 4/13/16: Spotting...

Day 25/ Cycle Day 1 4/14/16: Called the clinic with cycle day 1 (CD1), and will be starting

birth control (BC) most likely on Saturday after bloodwork...
